Dental Assisting I

Our Dental Assistant Program is designed to prepare students with the practical skills, clinical knowledge, and professional confidence needed to succeed in today’s modern dental practices. Through a combination of hands-on training, in-person and virtual classroom instruction, and real-world experience, students learn essential chairside assisting techniques, infection control procedures, dental radiography, patient communication, and front-office operations.
Radiology

Our Radiology Certification Course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to safely and confidently expose, process, and evaluate dental radiographs. Designed as a stand-alone program, this course is perfect for individuals entering the dental field or current dental professionals seeking North Carolina-approved radiology credentials.
Coronal Polishing

This hands-on course trains dental assistants to safely perform coronal polishing under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Students learn tooth anatomy, infection control, selective polishing principles, and proper use of polishing instruments and materials. Upon completion, participants receive documentation meeting North Carolina Dental Board requirements.
